Honeymoon: Napa Portion

Our honeymoon was just we needed- relaxation and indulgence. We loved dropping the "husband" and "wife" bombs everywhere we went because it felt so surreal and exciting to say it! I had never been to either Napa or San Francisco and it has been a long time for Andrew, so hopefully the excessive scenery pics won't bore you.
We saw the most beautiful sunset on the drive up and decided to pull over and capture it.

Napa!

Let the uncorking begin...

So tired, but so happy

The first day at Chandon wineries, specializing in champagne

Really pretty grounds

The vineyards

Four course lunch on the patio

Andrew in a tree. Nuff said.

Exquisite

Next stop: Francis Ford Coppola's Rubicon Estate

The tasting... we went home with at least four bottles of the Zin

The secret wine cellar we weren't supposed to be in

Upstairs had a lot of Coppola's relics, I couldn't tell you much about this car other than it is old and pretty

Yeah, pretty close to heaven for him

This is going to be a tough day to beat

Andrew got a goodie bag to take home

Tuesday, the wine train day!

I love trains so much, so this had to be my favorite event of the week.

About to board, and being welcomed by the "conductor"

At our table for two

Andrew getting really crafty with his photo composition

We got free stuff everywhere for being honeymooners, like these little chocolates shaped like grape clusters, and champagne in the hotel rooms

The train went right through the vineyards, and we were up on the top of the double-decker train, making for amazing views.

I love this one

Stupid Hyundai ruining our picture

On our balcony before dinner

Tuesday night dinner at Ubuntu in downtown Napa

They are nationally acclaimed for their cutting edge vegetarian creations, and for their promotion of a healthy lifestyle. They have a yoga studio upstairs.

This is how the butter came... I loved it.

My incredibly rich and hearty (but meatless) dinner

Quite the decor

My handsome husband proving that when in Rome...

The goose that came to our breakfast table on Wednesday morning as we were about to leave Napa
